Gretchen was Zoe oxygen deprived at birth? I dont mean for that to be funny I ask only because my son use to have night terrors (good god were they awful!) Our neurologist said that their was a study completed on children that were oxygen deprived or were preemies. My son did grow out of them, though living through them was scary!
I was toxemic and hospitalized a lot for preclampsia...they induced me 5 weeks early...she was born at 4.1 but dropped to 3.7 and sent home with a biliblanket. There was a very stressful time during labor...the dr. said her heart rate was dropping and I was seconds away form emergency c-section but then she popped out like a baseball and the dr. almost dropped her she flew out and was slippery. And I prayed to God, "God help me" once the dr. jumped up, knocking his rolling stool into the cart of hospital gadgets that made it crash to the floor....and bloop out she popped. She scored high on the apgar but needed a lil help with the biliruben...we were in the hospital 5 days.
