Noooooooo.......I got rid of ten teenage large fowl roosters this weekend, and got six day olds. Pretty sure that's still considered downsized!

And the brooder going to you will be downsizing.....need to finish the extra coop aznd sell it too.

Yes, you're still downsizing.... currently. But I wasn't referring to the present, I was referring to the future, when you bring home 6 new chicks in a 'flavor' you always wanted every time you go to buy feed.....

I am not downsizing. Not until May.
No nibbled on the pq birds available, but I think I found a buyer for the blonde birds. I just can't kiss their feathered butts and do what I need to do, and they are too pretty to not have a loving home.

Nella BABIES!!!!! They are so cute. I keep telling myself I dont have room, I dont have room, I dont have room. Almost like Dorothy from The wizard of Oz when she clicks her ruby slippers.

And the thought of me having to reach down an emus throat is gross! Dont emus vomit in their water or something like that? Its a good thing their adorable looking.

Lori, the boss bought us thin mints. Lol. I thought of you as I turned them down. I really must be the only person in the universe who doesn't like them,

I had no chance of resisting the speckled sussex. I have always wanted some of those.

I will have a dozen olive egger/cochin pullets for sale in the next couple months if you know anyone who might want broody prone and gentle feather legged easter eggers. Blue girls, black girls, splash girls, pretty blue wheatens.....all feather legged and used to my big flock. Hatched from dark olive eggs, crossed with a nice blue cochin boy.

Anyone, anyone? Lol

Good morning everybody! Sending you all good thoughts

Bad news, here I am at work and thinking of you all and not motivated to work on spreadsheets at all. Still no word on the impending foal?

P.S., dental issues clearing up nicely. The jaw still hurts but the tissue is almost healed! Yeah!

Truck driving son is rolling into town in a few hours, good reason to take off early.

Back to work...

for both of you today, for the things troubling each of you.

Melty, glad your jaw is feeling better!

Nells, I want some of your olive egger/cochin pullets! Why do you have to be so far away?

Laree, I love your blog. Hilarious!

It's DH's birthday today, think I'll take him out for lunch.

I have some double-stacked with others 'waiting in the wings' (roflmao).
Yes, sucks to make some wait....

I'd mail you Beaner's but I don't want to get fed to the neighbor's hogs

So you double stack them in the incubator? I was tempted to do that, but I was afraid they'd roll and crack when the turner shifted........advise me O' Platinum one!
