Yep, son has drill this weekend too. They are at Camp Shelby, MS ds is in the infantry.

They are under severe weather warning right now. We are getting rain off and on but nothing bad. I'm cooking up a pot of collard soup while we harvest the rest. Can't believe they are going to seed already.

I have never tried brussel sprouts in scrambled eggs but I will have to now.

My son is doing a convoy to the south today.
150 miles south on the highway I mean.

I frink pony does wuvs me.

He good boy today.
After last week me jamming him around, and him running away while I peed,
riding in the snow.

Today is nearly 70*.
I cleaned all four feet and put green stuff in. He even gets into position now
for me to pick up his feet,
not try and sit on me!
And know what else, I filed on one of his back feet just a bit!!
Without any issue!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

He saddled and bridled perfectly.
When I went to mount, at first he thought he forgot I like him to stand still.
But he remembered quickly.
Then he thought he forgot I like to start off walking,
but he remembered quickly.

I rode around my yard, and to neighbor son's house and up the hill to look over the valley.
He liked getting the 'hot' spots hosed down, and drank from the hose even though it had the spray nozzle on it.
He really liked it.
He goes quietly into the tack room to take off saddle,
that way I do not have to carry it!

Bringing him in the house was good lessons.

I brushed him a lot, then I could tell he wanted to go roll,
so I took him to his corral,
and now he is all dirty!

I think he's liking learning to be a mellow pony, not just a jamming pony all the time!

Oh, he can still jam though, if I want him to!

Today feels like he just may be my forever pony,
and I do like riding a pony,
and he's the cutest little big black and white pony ever!
