I feel like all I have done lately is whine about how tired I am. Sorry. So, here are a few pictures of the fruits of my labors.

...there is no pun intended here. I am showing off the bathroom remodel, not Sir BarfsAlot.

This bathroom WAS the "Green Frog Bathroom"--the bathroom you had to walk through the unfinished dog room to get to. The bathroom was so small, you could not close the door because the door would hit your knees.

We installed the shower fixtures last night. There are three fixtures, with 6 settings. There is a rain pan, a regular showerhead, and a handle-spray for grandma. You can have any two (or just one) spraying at any one time. Last night, everyone took a shower in the new bathroom, even though I didnt have a curtain for it yet.

Eventually my son is going to remodel one of his bathrooms and put in a shower.
So yea, it caught my attention even though no kittens were in the photos

Yes, we aare doing all the work ourselves.

For reference, this was the bathroom up until 2 weeks ago.

So, how'd you make it bigger? Take out the dog room?

The original space was a carport in the 60's, then the previous owners boxed it in and added an attached garage. Then they put in a bathroom, cut the carport in half, and stuck one of their kids in there. Over the years they put down asbestos tile, carpet on top of the tile, and then carpet on top of carpet #1. When we moved in, we tore it down to bare bones--but the bathroom remained. We used the remaining "dog room" space to enlarge the bathroom to accomodate grandma's scooter. Tomorrow I am putting up handicap handles and stuff.

I need to go throughall the pics from when we first moved in. It is going to take me a while, but people are ASTOUNDED when they see the difference in the craphole we moved into, and what we have put in---largely for free.
