Another thing adding to the Monday-ness of my Monday.
Aunt Flo's flight was delayed. She was due last week and still has not arrived.

I'm tired of practising patience and may end up a patient if I have to do too much more of it!

And Batty, I couldn't interupt the training. Belgium dude was already having a hard time following his own train of thought.
Instead, I am trying to find Uccle on the map of Belgium to see how far it is from Rome, Italy. Wouldn't it be fun to visit the birthplace of a chicken breed while doing my European tour? Some people visit landmarks, I want to visit farms. My friend that speaks french says I'm nuts, but still wants to go as my translator. She thinks it will be 'entertaining'.

Sorry, Aunt Flo stopped at my house for a few days....she should be on her way to you later in the week. Speaking of Aunt Flo, I was a bit unprepared for her visit and had to run to a local weigels for supplies. Pretty sure I could now drive into a river and use these as floatation devices. Ridiculous.

I find Aunt Flo a bit trying, so will send her on her way in a few days.

I spent yesterday cleaning and organizing. My house looks pretty darn good, as long as you stay out of the bedrooms! Was up till about 2am working on stuff, and overslept. Had an angry email from the boss for being 5 minutes late. Keep in mind, while we were emailing back and forth about being late, the other people on the same shift that I am on haven't even gotten here yet. 10-15 minutes late each for them and not a word said. I love my job, I love my job, I love my job........or not.

Did you see the wife swap episode where the one lady did this? She was a PITA loving animals rights whacko raw food only vegan. didn't even have a stove.

Swapped her out with a wife from a family that lives in the sticks and hunts for their dinner. The PITA lady conveniently forgot to thaw meat for dinner....so the hubby went out and shot a rabbit and brought it back for her to cook.

[eta: I saw whacko only because she refused to have a stove and furniture and forced her family to do the same...her and her daughter would go out and protest and hand out flyers....she would cry just thinking about animals being "ripped from their homes"]

also, her hubby worked 10-12 hour days while she stayed home and did nothing. When he got home from work he would make dinner and clean.....

Whew, Aunt Flo is usually 'spot on' so I was somewhat surprised at her delay. I have plenty of supplies, including chocolate...

Nella, when you get done at your house can you donate a couple of hours to mine? DH is getting a little aggravated with me and I can't seem to find my give-a-darn. So what if he vacuumed up 2 cats? We haven't had to feed them so I don't see what the big deal is....

Next step is the extra bedroom. I tried leave a path to the opposite wall but didn't do a very good job. One of the bunnies escaped in there the other day and I had to climb over stuff to find her.

On a sidenote, watched that animal hoarders show yesterday. Made me want to come home and sell all my animals LOL. I love watching hoarding shows, but they always make me want to CLEAN.

I never watch that show. But I dearly love telling vegans about the murder & mayhem involved in harvesting fruits & veggies & grains. Helpless bunnies beheaded by the combines, and things like that. Did you know Ghandi ate bugs? All eating involves the murder of a living thing and why do mammals and fish matter more than bugs & plants? Haven't they ever heard that recording of the plant screaming as its stalk was cut????

I'm not real popular with vegans and veg-heads.

I don't usually watch that show either, but stumbled on it that episode. The "hunting" family was hilarious. They were like "you eat the sun?" LOL

I have a book called "The Secret Life of Plants"....someday I might even read it.
