Hi guys - on here for two seconds to say hi and then run off to Hyannis to find out how much college I have to endure to finally earn my Assoc. degree (first attempt was back in early 80's)!

Alright I have to vent!!! I am sooo disappointed in Strombergs right now! They sooo screwed me on my bator and the fact that I had to now throw out 2 dozen Lav Orp Project eggs and 1 dozen Silkie eggs. I know some of you use them anyways but, I personally don't feel like using anything over 6 days. My experience is a low hatch rate at that point. But, anyway sorry just had to say it DON'T ORDER FROM STROMBERGS unless you want bad service/satisfaction.

Like I said, I havent ordered anything from me but live chicks, and that experience has always been wonderful. I hate getting the feeling that you're a number and they dont really give a hott about your loss. I'm sorry! I do like keeping my money in Minnesota which is why i started using them.

I'm sitting here, mouth numbed to hell and back, force-feeding bits of cold apple to my gn pullet and telling her she's not allowed to fail to thrive. I don't think she's listening. Am hoping the apple gives her a bit of energy later. Her crop is empty despite yesterday's treats which I KNOW she ate some.

I just said, "Could ya lve please?"
she shook her head no, but then poked at the apple a tad. Guess I'll force feed her a little more untl she really perks up. I figure if she can fight she's not ready to drop dead. And she does put up a fight....

Well, I got her to drink 3 sips of water. Guess I will spend the rest of the day pestering this girl.
She's on the porch now. DH will be home in 10 minutes and a bird in the house is a no-no, but a bird in front of the computer is Trouble (with a capital T, as you can see).
