Oooh, imagine the looks we'd get on the interstate if we did that! Especially if we all smiled and waved at every car we passed. That's one of my favorite "bored on the interstate" pasttimes. (Yes, I am a dork. Maybe even THE dork.)

Could we get the chickens to wave, that's the question...

The thought crossed my mind that you guys and girls might want to have an idea of who you're talking to here. This was taken in my office last January, best I have at the moment. Please excuse the big red spot on my neck, DH whisker burned me right before he took my picture.

Coming home from 6-Flags in GA I had 2 young d'Uccles. The young roo didn't want to stay in the box, and flew onto the steering wheel. It amused us all. Traffic was heavy, and it was interesting seeing the looks we got. Especially when the bird turned and looked at the other drivers!!

I made a rude remark about what body part to tell the officer he was steering with, if DH got pulled over. I had forgotten the 4 teenagers in the back of the van. You have never heard so much laughter in your life

No. I blew that by using 6-Flags as an excuse to bring 2 more birds home. The friends of the girls thought "Chickens??!?"

I'm certain is't 5:30 somewhere.

Jump up and down until you think you're on the edge of hurling and go tell your boss you feel like barfing. Maybe the green skin and sickly look will convince Boss to send you home.

I gotta agree, that does sound kind of nasty.

I had a salmon salad sandwich on marble rye with a cup of tomato bisque soup that was VERY garlicy. This does not bode well for my date night with hubby.

*pops in more gum*

ETA: Or is that garlicky? That seems like I'd be licking the garlic, though...

I think 'garlicky' is correct. But I like to invent words, so who knows....

I had an Arby's cherry turnover as the appetizer, leftover cheese-stuffed tortellini in spaghetti meat sauce with extra mozzarella & parmesan thrown on top for the main course, crescent rolls on the side (which aren't as good cold) and an Arby's apple turnover for dessert. All washed down with water lightly flavored by green chai tea.

I have an extra peppermint if you need one, Orchid.
Also some crystalized ginger, which is AWESOME for cleaning out rancid breath when I trick DH into eating some.

Not too far from me.

But will you actually BE there?

I don't know. You can PM me the dates you will be in TN or you can post them if you like. I might be in Wisconsin for Thanksgiving but the week before Thanksgiving week and the week after Thanksgiving I should be home. It's deer season those weekends.
