Here's an entire Sundays' worth of conversation between me and DH:

Me, around 2:00: "You know what your problem is? You talk too much."

Him, around 3:00: "Yep".

Nope. Just laying low.

Thankfully the ladies on this thread get things off their chest and then move on. Other threads turn into male bashing threads and just keep going.

like the chick who's attacking me on the stolen meat bird ag class?

Boyd, I think she gave you your man card back.

Oh boy, now I've got to go see this thread myself. I generally check out of threads the second they become contentious. Not worth my emotions.

By the way Dacs, I read your comments on the whacko thread and they were totally on the spot. Well done.

(However, I see why you are offline now. Your usual posts are only five or six words long. All that typing must have put your hands in traction.)

I agree with Nella - some threads lately are started by people all wound up about simple matters that could be addressed within their own families or directly with the school. By making them public, EVERYbody gets their knickers in a twist. Add a couple more posts and the knickers turn into twisted wedgies. I mean, really, why do people think that every little problem is for the whole world to participate in????

In a side note, I got a papercut opening the mail. I'm suing. Anybody with me?

Okay, I got my butt handed to me just now on the soon-to-be-shut-down thread. By one of those easily hepped up people that thrive on torch-waving and arguing with perfect strangers. Oh well, it's a nice butt I have, I guess I don't mind having it back.

No fun at all. Why don't I start a anti-paper-cut thread and invite a few thousand people to contribute their opinions on how much I should sue for, how outrageous is it that I'm required to open the mail in the first place(!), and a few more thou to tell me stories of how they died from infected papercuts.
