And I've been very busy got a bunch of stuff that came in today. Went to teh PO, answered phone, sold stuff.........Got the IT guy coming tomorrow so I can get this website going. Ok, ok I can't stand it........when converting from verb to a gerund, and the vowel is long as in the work "gripe" you use ONE consonant to remain long ie "griping" HOWEVER, if the vowel is short sounding as in "grip". You MUST double the consonant to keep it short ie "griPPing".

English lesson over.

Random thoughts:

The inspector came through and did the final inspection for our permits on the house today. We passed--but he did repeatedly mention the house was over-engineered. That's my DH

The inspector turned a blind eye to my coop...which is a little naughty since it uses the side wall to support the roof.

Have you all seen my coop BYC page? My DH over-engineers EVERYTHING.
