Now, back to this saddle price - do you think that saddle would actually go for $950? I mean, that's a bit over the top. Before we moved to Cape Cod, back in NY I thought I'd never find horses to ride again, and I tried to sell the saddle. I went to just one tack shop that had a giant over inventory of used saddles and they said they could only offer me $50 for it because they just had no need for yet another used saddle.

So I still have it. It's hard as all getout, but I love that my legs can feel the horse's side, not three thick inches of leather and straps. Now I'm just waiting for a new friend that has horses around here. The last friend with horses here moved to Maine and took her horses with her. I don't do proper schooling - I'm a bang-through-the-woods rider.

I just went over it lightly with blue (just hitting it here and there-- starting at a corner and then brushing it a few inches with a sweeping motion) Kinda hard to explain-- but I used a 3" brush and only let some of the bristles hit the wood, not the entire brush. Then I did it again with white. The less the better-- I think I got it too covered in some spots but you can always sand it off or add more. It worked really well on the older pieces of rough wood and not so well on the smooth newer wood.

I'm planning on doing this to my big old wooden kitchen table, so the coop was my guinea pig.​

Ok, so my company has a bunch of offices, and some of the office abbreviations (made up by the operations committee) are just a little....inappropriate. They read "not so great" if you are an adult, and "hilariously funny" if you are a 13-year-old boy. It wouldnt be so bad, but people pronounce the acronyms, just like "LOL" becomes "lawl"

Kind of annoying, and gross.
