I gently floated down.

and since when does dac float?
You too huh maple? I'm going in on Saturday with the dogs to fund this year's New Years party.
Buffy, you are really on a roll the last couple days, I was sitting here just giggling away while I caught up.
Nells, if you're going to kill babies, don't stuff them in the popcorn tin, that's the first place they always look.
Dacs, enjoy your grandkids. Are you tied to any train tracks yet?
Here's an excerpt from an email I sent to my friend detailing my day yesterday:
I never made it on to the computer at all yesterday. It was a ridiculous day. I stayed home to clean house but really got nothing done but laundry, Christmas cards and cooking
I made jerk chicken chili (AWESOME), a chickpea salad and then I decided to be stupid and make my mom a cake for her birthday
a cake from scratch. Well, my cake looked beautiful when I took it out of the oven and then as it cooled it fell so they looked more like volcano craters than cakes
then I turned them over to take them out of the pans and one of them fell in half. Arrrrggghhh! But, I got creative and decided I had time to whip up some pudding and make the cake into a trifle (I already had leftover whipped cream from Foxxs birthday on Sat). The kids wanted to stay home after school so I locked them in the house with the dogs and went to town, picked up two gifts for my mom and some groceries, ran back home and the dogs were out on the porch
uh
oh.
Yep, Cody got into the cake.
But Foxx caught him in the act and threw him outside.
So after cutting off and discarding the gnawed upon portion of the cakes, I was left with two halves of two rounds. I did manage to make the trifle, though, and it WAS delicious. So Im pretty sure that when your cake falls in half and then the dog eats part of it and you can still make a delicious birthday dessert out of it, you are a baker extraordinaire. Right? RIGHT? Hahahaha
Speaking of Christmas cards, if I don't have your address and you want a card, you better PM it to me!
