Brazilian was good. New kitty is here. She is lopsided....head crooked, fell over a few times. TOTALLY RETARDED

Took her to the vet this morning.....as expected she is not 1 year old...more like 3-5 years old. No ear mites but it was red and irritated so maybe just an infection. I got medicine for her....we'll treat for 2 weeks and see if it improves. Because she is a rescue we have no idea if it is a new "medical" issue or a long term (ie, head trauma) issue.

But she is so sweet and happy and friendly......Norman the cat is SO ANGRY, screaming and being evil. Frankie the dog wants to eat her. Sigh. Just another day in paradise.

No lil duck and somewhere along the line I don't see one of my black coppers and I only had 2 girls....wonder where the heck? It was chaotic the last two days trying to get them to stay over in thier new coop. And the old coop doesn't have lights so I just shut them both up thinking everyone was in one or the other. And the stupid dog gettin in the run chasing them from one coop to the next didn't help.

I looked all over the yard...behind slanted boards (bunny tracks), inside the dog houses, under low hanging trees and in bushes...I don't see anything....cept bunny tracks. Maybe she disappeared before all of this and I just never noticed. I mean they all hide under Mr. Turkey Big Pants and huddle together with the ducks...very likely I could have just missed that I was missing her. So she's ether been coyote dinner, froze somewhere, or she's still hiding. I'm hoping she's hiding and a neighbor calls me and tells me they see a chicken. As for the duck...well, he went south and it snowed last night and more snow is on it's way...think he'll come back? Wonder where he flew off to? I hope he comes back but if he doesn't I'll hope he makes it to where he's going, finds a mate, and lives happily ever after. I can hope after all. stupid dog...had the duck back the first night and stupid dog got in the run and chased her off again.
It's a design flaw...the door stinks...it's caught up on ice at the bottom and doesn't shut all the way so easy to push open the rest of the way. Was hoping everyone would get settled in the new coop area and I wouldn't have to use that door anymore.

Now that everyones out of the old coop, I shut the pop door so they can't get back in which forces them to go to the new one. That should do it. Plus all the food and water is over there in the new one.

There...now I just emptied all of todays thoughts on you.

Wait wait...there's more...My nephew's wife is in the hospital with the flu. So they won't be there tonight at Grandma's plus because me and my girls have a cold we are going to opt out of dinner at Granny's tonight as well. My throat is sooooo sore this morning.
And now I got to call Ava's dr. to insist my dd be sedated for the catheter. and I have to clean my house but i don't wanna but i have ta. There...there's all my thoughts.

Was she lop sided when you met her? So this is not residual effects from the anesthesia for her spay? Hmm...interesting. If her ears are bad then this could be something like vertigo. Wonder if some anti-dizzy pills would work. Meclazine for humans...not sure what it is for pets. You might have to check each night for missing critters and critters hanging out by the old coop until you get them trained.
