I've been trying to avoid sugar to keep my acne in check and it's KILLING me but it also seems to be killing the acne. I read in a magazine that some acne seems to be caused by the insulin rush after you eat a bunch of sugar. Sigh. Not sure if the cure is worse than the affliction or not.

Why do we still get acne even when we are old? This blows. As a kid mine was so bad I went on Accutane. That was fun. One of the side effects is like SWELLING ON YOUR BRAIN or something like that. Guess who had severe headaches while on it? Yep. I was supposed to be on like 40 or 50 mg, I think. They took me down to 5mg and figured they would work their way up....when I hit 10 mg, my vision went blurry and the headaches returned. So much for that!

.......my skin looks better though! LOL
