I had drug-free labors too (long ones). My first baby I had an epidural and said I'm never doing that again - recovery was terrible. So my last 2 babies I had the old-fashioned way and afterwards I was hopping out of bed taking care of my baby and the nurses were very concerned. They kept coming in an offering me pain meds after it was over but I kept saying no, I felt great, no pain at all.
