I lost one of my little turkeys, and will probably lose another before we hit release time

But I sold 17 chicks and have another 10 going to the E.TN BYC picnic with me. I hope to come with 0

And LadyHawk will pick up one or 2 more on Sunday

And a friend from high school will take Dexter (remember him, Batty?) and Mystery, my 2 misfit adults. And she wil take my skew-footed buff Silkie and it's 2 muttly companion chicks. All 5 will be spoiled rotten for the rest of their days.

But the best part of all is that I will only have 1 bird left to rehome

Very cool. I'm going to be looking for homes for the lone phoenix girl and "JB". I'll probably take them down to the july 17 meet. Plus what ever orps I have developing that I'm not keeping. Oh and the polish x orp babies that are due to hatch this weekend.

Should've been very cool, but some folks didn't show up. So I came home with 7 chicks. Good news in that 5 will be drop dead gorgeous in 2 months and I'll ask a fortune for them then.

Poor JB. Love is soooo fickle!!

It's Sunday evening now. I'm beat to a pulp from doing a less-than-capable-of cello solo in church then spending 3.5 hrs cleaning a vacation rental house. Headache now.

Hi to all my friends here. I won't be on BYC again until Monday afternoon. Looks like Tues & Thursdays will be my only days on BYC, or maybe I can spend time here in the evenings.

On the good side, we have a Crested Flycatcher nesting in one of our yard bird-boxes.
