Had 2 visits yesterday and unloaded all the rest of the chicks

LadyHawk and I stayed up until midnight talking, so I'll be a zombie today. DD is 'escorting' LadyHawk this morning since I had to be at work. Its not really so that LadyHawk doesn't sneak off with any extra birds, honest. She already got suckered into... I mean, convinced to take a little buddy for the black Silkie chick she picked up.

I got into my car to drive to the studio this morning - the further one I teach at. Decided to check my phone -

The client late canceled (I still get paid, but still). If I'd of looked at the phone earlier, I wouldn't have showered yet, I would have gone for my walk first, then gone to my 10 am at the closer studio. No way I'm walking now, I'll have to live in sweaty clothes for the day. Yuck! Now I'm out of a walk and my day is discombobulated -

Kids ditched us this weekend for electricity. Man, kids these days. Already been busy morning - usual farm stuff. Plus had to move new chicks. had a bunch hatch this weekend. Looking for a replacement buddy for my african goose. Stupid donkeys attacked the male and broke a leg and wing. We had to put him down. It was sad he was in so much pain!

Baby horses doing well. Have to order feed, schedule the vet to ultra sound and get the farrier out since the boarding farm didn't see fit to have their feet trimmed in 3 months!!

Plus got to schedule the art show, chicken fair and work on the website more.

slow day by all accounts.
