Yeah, this last generation is a bit too gamey for my taste, but I am going to toss them in with a NHR roo or something with a better body type. I have got some BO, SS, Australorp, and other crosses in the works. Talk to me in 8 months. The Alohas should be better by then.

Here is my fav girl Sassafrass. She was really gamey up until she started to lay. Then she filled out nicely. Still not a good meat bird, but under the right roo....

I am sooooo hungry.

Stupid diet. I do ok when I am by myself. but the kids graze all day. i can't ignore grumbles when I I constantly feeding them scrumptous laree cooking.

But i am down from 217 on Sunday to 206 today.

Yeah, for a while anyway until I can come up with a good excuse to leave too. I do think I have a rib out which has, in turn, thrown my back out and hubby says I can't come home tonight unless I get into a chiropractor. I am still debating on it, I have never been to one, but I didn't sleep last night either.
