PK, this is a thread for people who earn paychecks by ..... W orking. I know I know, it's a cruel word, and it's your destiny unless you are born to well-to-do parents or play the lottery whilst underage. We don't want to alarm you, but you may want to think about finding new parents and/or playing the dollar game.

Ok... But I honestly think I'll like working, especially since my dream job (CPA) involves numbers.

I'm going to add --- Go to college. It's fun and you won't be stuck in entry-level jobs for the rest of your life.

May I adopt you?

I'd have to ask Mom, but... uhh... sure?

Tell Mom that I'm completely inexperienced and disinterested in parenting but that I watch Nanny 911 whenever I see it on. That should calm her concerns I'm sure. PS - PK will like my chickens.

I'm pretty good at taking care of myself. All I really need is a house, clothes, food, and a little school help. Extras include manga and anime.

As someone who has been there: find a job that lets you move around. Something that lets you see sunshine occasionally or at the very least, leave your cubicle.

I didnt mind the accounting/CPA "stillness" because I worked out & have kids & pets.

Then our company went "GREEN". Now I dont even leave my desk to go to the printer. Everything is printed to PDFs. All work discussions need to be via email (for legal purposes) so I rarely get to see the people I work with in person.

Perhaps you could be a CPA by day and a bik courier by night?

...she says as she hides her Cosmo magazine behind her back....

I so don't read Cosmo. I have never understood why after 50 years htey are still trying to explain how to "do it". Either the writers can't get it right, or the readers can't. Either way, I'm fine with what I need to know!
