Everything about this post never happened. It has been squeegieed from my reading brain.

OMG I feel like butt monkeys. I need to go home and take a nap. Maybe read myself to sleep with an extra-smutty romance novel. Something where he's a pirate and says things like, "Stop stealing my biscuits, you rotund red-headed wench!"

So cool, she/he must have really saw something in you.

How disapointed she must be....

JUST KIDDING!

hardy-har Laree. Buffy, she pestered me for 2 years to enter in State and I refused, lack of confidence, inability to take rejection, etc so she just did it without asking my Sr year. I think my dad has one of the paintings I did, my mom has the other, and the sculpture I had done was for a "friend" (how loosely I threw that term around in HS) which she shattered when she decided to stop being my friend.

That describes me during my whole school career. Man I hated school even though I did well. You too, - doing well doesn't mean you are enjoying anything.

I read all the good parts aloud....not the racy parts. I usually skip over those, but the unintentionally funny parts.

There was one "Scottish Highlander" romance novel I used to have where the heroine was FAT. She would steal biscuits, her tartan ripped, the other characters would call her funny chubby names (nothing mean, but funny), etc. I wish I still had it, but I always pass along the funny ones.

"No. Don't look up. They're in the trees. Those tree cows. They're a deadly shot. They'll get you in the eyes. Get them down with threats of violence. And a bucket of grass, of course."
Awesome.

And there I was, wasting my time with Wllm Beebe, William Conway, Gerald Durrell and Jacque Cousteau. No freakin' wonder I was a late bloomer. [still waiting for that...]

Gerald Durrell - now that was a funny guy! I only read Jacques Cousteau because he had a diver on his team that was a hunk & a half! Maybe two hunks at once! Lets see if I can find his pic.
