Office Work.......

Did I miss the meeting??? Darn!

Ok it's 4:30. I just got back a bout 1/2 an hour ago. Been running around - spent an hour in Wal-Mart trying to find a mouse pad and not loose my temper and stay focused amid all the screaming children being toted about for pre-school shopping. I managed to get everything I needed for home and store but I came away with a killer tension headache.

This weekend at the flea market was a bust. didn't sell enough to cover my booth fee.

Behind on EVERYTHING at the store. I have four new consignors, including a very nice woman who thinks anyone but her would pay over 150 for a set of reins. Man I love people.....seriously........I did type that with a straight face.

On the home front, Camp Batty will soon have electricity -even if it is only generator generated. We do have the permit for the electrical work and I have to rent the equipment so we may have real electricity soon!!

I have a killer headache so I am trying to stay far far away from the crazy people.....

not having any success.

I carried eggs to the coop (wonder what the nieghbors thought of that) and the fitness center that wants me back called while I was in there. Wonder what he thought as 4 midget roos crowed for my attention? I came out with twice as many eggs as I took in there. I candled and there were a lot of viable eggs. More than would fit

I put Pipper over the water trough and took out the tray. Emptied & washed it. Candled again. I packed that puppy with 41 eggs (Octagon 20) and put Pipper on a paper towel on top of the egg layer (lol). Pipper was highly motivated by all this disturbance to go from a pip to a full out zip. She should be out and rying any minute.

I have a dozen viable eggs that wouldn't fit. Some were the dirty eggs I was going to throw out if they didn't fit. But some were good clean ones. Sick Mama Blue perked up at the sound of the baby pipping, so after her antibiotic beverage I nestled her down on the leftover viables. If she doesn't make it then I'll throw them all out. But maybe they'll give her a reason to live

Dh is home now, and since he doesn't read BYC (if he did I'd've gotten a foot rub when he was needy) so I thik I'm home free on the game of Musical Eggs.

WeGot - don't worry I told J no way I was staying out there with out electric through the winter - not happening!

I didn't take my eggs out of the turner last night like I was supposed too. I was too plum lazy to drive back to Lexington last night. So when I got to town I was greeted with two pipped and peeping eggs. Please GOD, let them be black girls - pretty please with sugar on top!

Me too. Was eating dinner with DH and a tooth broke. It was not the one already on the 'royalty list' (crowning). So now I have 2 crowns, and have to see the dentist again less than a week after the last visit.

The only good side I can find on this is that they will numb the hell out of me to keep from bitten or screeched at while they work on me

but my day was absolutely wonderful!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I made my hourly quota today (in my own books) took my son crawfishing, cleared trail for another 150 yards through the new property, and managed to find the rum. I hate it when the rum is hidden from me? Why is it there is never any rum?
