Us too. Hi Mrs. Dacs!!!!!!!!!!!! Is it true you guys are really going to have to give up chickens? Will you stay on BYC?????

Of course I will stay on BYC. You folks are too entertaining. Sometimes I even offer new chicken people some advice.

Michelle, you MUST do it. Then Dacs can report back to us about the quality and suitability of your man. He will have been the only one to have met him, and we trust his judgement ... a little.

We don't have a schedule, per-se, we are just kinda playin it by ear. I'm up for it and I'm sure Tom will be too.

I'm gone a lot so anytime Mrs. dacs goes somewhere we have to find someone to take care oc the chickens for us. Finding dependable caregivers that remember and aren't too far away is difficult. We gave most of our chickens to our niece then got some back for the summer. Then gave them back to her with a bunch of chicks. Right now we have a very good rooster, a Light Brahma hen, and a lone chick. When the chick gets a little bigger the hen and chick will be going to the niece and if I don't find a new home for the rooster he is going to freezer camp. Everyone is afraid of the rooster.

Mrs. dacs has an eye appointment on the 16th. I have an appointment with my deer blind on the 19th and 20th. Other than that we are pretty flexible.

If you like quilts the National Quilt Museum is in Paducah, KY.

I'm offended. Where can I rant about being insulted by a second-party person who was guessing what his spouse MIGHT be thinking?

Start a thread, make sure it also contains flies and paper cuts and legal action.

I want that job. I mean, to be a home based wife*, not to have to deal with YOU on a regular basis. Lord knows it's hard enough to tolerate a man on this thread, much less you.

*and not be dragged out of the house to the salt mines every freakin' day.
