I wish. I think the closest one is in Fargo, about an hour and a half away. I do have an aesthetician for a best friend, though, so she can pick me up some.

One thing I like about where I live is that I'm about 20-40 minutes from any place I want to shop.

One thing I don't like is that our yard isn't big enough for an alpaca. But I did place my request again, after discussing the Corvette I'm getting in 20 years....

I'm hoping that this pain is all from the irritation of the actual procedure plus 3 months of having an exposed nerve. that is what Mr Dentist said.....i can see why you had so much pain, the nerve is exposed.

Yay me.

I had mashed potatos and a milkshake for dinner. And vicodin.

This morning I am very carefully eating poptarts. Chewing on the left side only. Already took some advil. I do not have almost 40 vicodin for future needs. Which is good cause last year's darvocet (over a year old now) is down to the last 4 pills.

In other news, my traction tape CAME OFF. I went out this morning and it came off! No more sticky! what?

Ah, heck. Alpacas are small, the neighbors would never notice!

I'm still waiting on my Hot Wheels Pink John Deere H tractor. We have the tractor...but most of it came home in boxes. It could be a while.

Sadly, I work in a major shopping area. I look out the window and see Belk, Marshalls, Best Buy, etc etc etc. Borders, Target, Walmart, Hobby Lobby, Petsmart, Ross, Gander Mountain, Bed Bath and Beyond and about a million others are within about a half mile. Plus we have Red Robin, SteaknShake, Chik-fil-a, Starbucks, Quiznos, Subway, Wild Wings, O'charleys, Mimis, Texas Roadhouse, Olive Garden plus a million others in this same shopping center.

See why dieting is so hard? If you get desperate you can drive a block farther and go to Bojangles, McD, Wendy's, Hardees, Cracker Barrel, Krystal, IHOP or a few others.

Sally's Beauty Supply is next door to Payless, between the Brick Oven Pizza place, and Bath and Body Works. Sigh.

We have exactly three of those companies here. Walmart (hate), McD's (hate), Subway (love). Everything else you listed is a minimum of an hour away.

If I worked where you do I would be perpetually broke. Hobby Lobby and PetSmart would do me in.

I can avoid restaurants. I'd rather eat my own food 90% of the time.

I'm already mostly done with my Christmas shopping. Now I have to start planning the Christmas making of things....

Fried chicken, mostly.
I haven't eaten there in AGES. I prefer Zaxby's, which we have about 5 minutes away from the house
