That's what the guys at Jiffylube are for. They cleaned a giant mouse nest out of my engine compartment today during lunch break. The insulation on my hood was all chewed away. 1999 Camry for sale.

Windshield wipers fall into DH's realm of expertise. I just remember to make the oil change appointments for my car and let him know when some part of it is making a funny noise. BTW those funny noises are never funny as in "haha", more like funny as in "funny, we ran out of money to pay the bills this month"...

I have often wondered if I could live with a man who couldn't fix every broken thing I brought him. I don't know that I could. I are spoiled.

I'm cool with that, Orchy!!
Buffy, send your dad the cookies. Heaven forbid I should pull treats from an old man when Orchy will make me my very own!

I'm actually having an okay day, now that my office is warmer than 65 (it was 55 when I got here).

Today is the office Christmas lunch, so we had Petros (chili & cheese on corn chips). We also did a gift exchange. I gave lots of scented candles since I didn't make enough jelly this year. I got lots of laughs when I said the scented candles would come in handy after the chili kicks in....
I also made one co-worker a scarf and matching hair band out of muppet yarn. She had complimented me on mine, one day. And then she went and told her office mates she hoped I'd make her a set for Christmas. Yay me!

I got some cool stuff, including the "Pocketful of Poultry' book I did NOT buy for myself in OH, although I wanted it. Now I'm glad I put it down and bought the little watering deals instead. Especially since the person who gave me the book is the lady I gave the muppet scarf/scrunchie to.

When I woke up yesterday I was dreaming that DH and I ran a farm and we grew windshield wipers. We had feilds and fields of little black stick-like thingies growing out of the clay, and I was wondering if it was time to harvest them.

Good luck, Buffy!
I hate changing them, and pay the extra $ to have the oil-change guys do it for me....

Yay, Lori's not freezing to death! Scented candles make me happy! Nicely done.
