Alright, someone tell me not to get 2 barn kitten/cats from someone an hour from here. I know buffster saw their ad cause she posted on it. I need a "barn cat" as the mice population is out of control back towards the garage/coop area.

I store my feed in large aluminuminuminum cans so that the mice have to really work for their snacks. And then the chickens get a snack.

DH didn't wake me until 9am because there was an inch of ice on the roads. Then he went in. I went in at 11:30 and did a 270, leaving me on the side of the road facing the ditch I'd worked so hard to stay out of. I cold've taken a right and went back home, but I toof a left and went to work. After 2 hours of 'emergencies' I left to take DD and I to the dentist. I can live with a 2-hour workday

Best of all, the butthead that ticked me off yesterday had to saw through 3 trees to get to work. I smiled as he complained. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

DD is 'sick' in an effort to avoid being punished for lying. I am cutting no slack. Mean old mommy, that's me!!

I haven't had a drink in ages. Since we ate at Carrabbas with Santos the gorgeous waiter that DD drooled over. I plan to make up for lost time on Saturday at the Christmas party.

Now I have to go make numerous batches of cookies. Guess what we're having for dinner!

I had mice long before I had chickens.......the garage is pretty open, so they use it as their personal mansion. My feed is in plastic tubs but I've never had them chewed into. I'm sure enough feed gets scattered around or stolen from feeders that they don't need to worry.

I am not a fan of mice, but I am a fan of songbirds, so I go back and forth on the outdoor cat issue. Since I have two myself, I try to make up for the guilt by feeding the birds in a feeder the cats can't get to.

My chickens killed a mouse in their run yesterday. I was proud.

Raise your hand if you hate automated "customer service" systems. I mean, for some things, they are fine... the car wash, great choice for automation, but not customer service.

I hate talking to a freakin machine. I know it's cheaper than paying for a person to answer the phone but seriously, it's worth what you pay for it.
