never had a ferret

ewwww, and once, when we went on vacation and neighbor was watching our rats, and the female had babies and the male escaped his cage and started eating the babies, luckily we got home right then and I was able to save most of the babies.

Gross. Rats are funny. If I didn't have 8 gajillion animals already, I would get a couple pet rats. I am loving this wine. And need a rice krispie treat. Stat.

nooo mooore riiiice kriiispiiiiies!

yeah boo, at 9.

I think everyones being pretty decent with the cat lady. Her dad seems nice. Wonder where she went with the cats in the shopping cart? omg and omg i just said omg but really mean garsh.

funny...my neice and i were just talking about that earlier tonight. She had a dwarf hamster that ate the other one and I was telling her when we were kids we had gerbils and we forgot to tell the house sitter they were upstairs and we were gone for 2 weeks and the one gerbil ate the other one and it was FAT. It was soooo nasty.

rice krispie on its way.

I used to hide my rat in my coat and take it a lot of places with me.
Even horseback.

I had rats when I first met DH. And even when we first were living together I still had rats.
But, once the last ones died, he threw out my cages.

I got my boys a hamster once, and it escaped from its cage, and in the dark I stepped on it when we were in a hurry laving, I didn't know what I had stepped on. When we got home, I found it with its eyeball popped out.

Probably too gross of a story to be telling though, sorry

Oh yea, another time, I had my rats cage close to my hamster's cage, and the rat chewed off the hamsters foot. ewwww, it healed though. poor thing, when he climbed up his cage he was always trying to grab the wires with his missing foot.

ha ha, I just remembered about when I had a 10 gallon fish tank with angel fish in it. they are kind of flat. one day I was cleaning the tank and one of the fish flipped out of the net and I was looking and looking for it, and finally i found it, stuck to the outside of the tank.
It was ok.

And when my boys won goldfish at a carnival thing, and they were in a small fish bowl, I would let them out for exercise in the big puddle in the driveway during rainy season.

And when they'd get real big, they could live in the horse trough.

My brother in law has this little decorative waterfall/pond thing in his backyard. There are goldfish living in the bottom pool. He CANT kill them. Like literally doesn't feed them over winter. Doesn't do anything with them. They are the hardiest buggars ever.
