They were delicious. I inhaled them in like 10 seconds flat. Considering licking the plate. Still STARVING. Didn't eat enough for dinner last night and woke up STAAAAAARVING.

I always do lick the plate clean, if any frosting manages to fall onto it.


My mini wheats were not as unsatisfying as yesterday's. I think my belly is adapting already. I don't even feel compelled to open the bag of M's yet.

After I get my work release, I get to clean the chicken coop. Rumor has it that today is the closest we get to warm, sunny and dry.
Then I will box the lucky pair of birds that become interstate travelers.

If anyone wants to come help with the coop, I will reward them with a dinner of Oscar Meyer nitrate-free hotdogs and Bush beans.

Your workday sounds similar to mine. I ate 2 strudels....one of them slipped out of my hand and landed on my plate UPSIDE DOWN. omg, it was horrible.

When I get home I get to start day #1 of my new organized life.

I am a giant nerd.

I have a board with my short term goals and long term goals on the left. All the projects I would like to do/finish. Then my bulletin board where I can stick stuff. And on the right, my "chore chart". I am chronically "guilty" about not doing enough every day. So I have scheduled out my life so that I can make sure stuff gets done and also feel as though I accomplished all of my "goals" that day.

I'm really bad about saying "oh, I'll do that tomorrow"...so I even have very simple stuff on there like "wash eggs". Because at least I can go down the list every day and see everything I need to do, do them, and feel ACCOMPLISHED!

They say the first step to destressing is to finish your open projects. I'm working on it!

I'm going to Ikea this weekend. I see more organization in my future.

Lori, your day sounds similar to mine as well. I have a lot of drudge and tedium sitting on this desk, waiting to bore me to death. Fortunately I have a couple of fun projects too, like searching out a baptismal well for a project we're bidding.
