It's got 2 lil knives and 2 lil forks...so I think you move the roo to the side and put something like a cheese ball or dip in the middle part and crackers or veggies and such on the outer parts...like a lil horderve tray...fine...I don't know how to spell it though I know the h is silent.
Lori your daughter is beautiful. I understand about the being self conscious thing. My daughter is very tall and on the plus side. But I think they look happier than some of these girls that starve themselves and think life revolves around looks.
Buffy you and I should get along (I'm a vampire too.I suck blood all day..Phlebotomist lol)
Bow, I tried that positive thinking thing this morning.
It didn't work for me. Last week is stil hanging over me pretty bad, and then we did taxes this weekend.
So my heart told my head to kiss off, and then I had a good cry.
My day is not going to fly by. My attitude is not good. Them's the breaks...
Of my shipped eggs I got 4 chicks from 12 eggs. 9 developed initially, but then pooped out on me one by one. of the 4 chicks, one looks to have a bad foot. She's also the smallest, so I'm thinking she may not make it. None of them are the lavender boy I was hoping for
I am faithfully turning Oscar the egg. I cannot keep the humidity low enough though. I don't know if it will cause issues or not.
ok...lets all have poopy attitudes together!!! I found a batcha rotten eggs I left in a bucket and forgot about...wanna smell? Lets do something stinky with em.
Lori....I really hope we get Oscar to hatch...too much humidity did you say? So on my bator you pop a plug and get some air to escape...what about your bator? Let's think.....how can we help Oscar the Emu egg?

Thanks! I was self-conscious too, and now I look back on old photos and think, "Wow! I was kinda cute back then." I'm hopingshe does the same thing some day. I get frustrated because in a lot of pics she scowls or is uncooperative. Then she looks at the resulting photo and says, "See? How can you say I'm pretty!"
When she's excited and actually smiles she's gorgeous (but still argues about it).
g~ I am the non-mosh pit mom. I escaped it, remember?

g~ I never even added any water to the bator at all. The surrounding humidity is influencing things. I thought about putting some silicone packets in there to help dry things out. But what if that causes something to be leached from Oscar that he needs? So I decided to just keep tending Oscar and see what happens.
As soon as the last d'Uccle chicks hatch, I may switch Oscar to the Brinsea. I am undecided about that, since the Brinsea is currently holding the perfect d'Uccle temp....
