Get rid of all your books yet lol

I told my daughter your a biologist and about your books, Her response and I quote "what in the world is wrong with him, you dont get rid of books". She moved back home for a little while so she could do some studying abroad and brought home at least twenty boxes of books.....Only girl I now that has more books than clothes. She's studying to be a scientific illustrator.

Back in the office today. Yay me. I went grocery shopping at lunchtime for my microwave lunches and breakfast foods, and they had a 2 layer sheet cake on sale for $8.99. Chocolate cake with cheesecake frosting and filling. I bought it for my department. We are all on a sugar high now.

It was only because they came to the conclusion you were sharing when you really only pushed a napkin in your shirt collar to make a bib and had a knife and fork ready to dig in and call it lunch. Darn those presumptious people.


I thought my dd broke my cord that lead to my monitor and it took me a while to figure it out. I even drove to my mom's house looking for her old monitor to steal it's cord...I couldn't find it. Then I came home and turned it on and it came back on....? wierd. Anyway, I should have brought my camera so I could have posted pics on the where is the storm now thread. There were some spectacular wind blowing snow across the road spots. Seemed like a lot of people were headed home. School had an automated message call to let us know that school is cancelled tomorrow and all activities tonight and tomorrow night as well. yay! I won't have to set my alarm to check the closings.
