Feel better, k

My day today was better than yesterday. It was a popular lunch item!

Stay safe in storm everyone!

Whats the weight?

Yikes, cuz I have books in boxes and shelves.

If I get rid of them all it will around 50 pounds. I do have a bunch of individual books too.

Good for you on getting an apology!!!

Every now and then ya just gotta tell somebody off. It felt really good to tell a co-wrker, "Sucks to be you!" that one day.
And today I stood my ground as the bad guy. So they made the dude sign the appropriate form, or had someone else sign for him. Don't know, don't care. I was brought a signed form and I used it to request the report. If they lied it's on them and not me.

The roads are all closing around these parts except for medical personel. The plows can't keep up with the blowing snow...wind gusts up to 40 mph and now sleet on top of the snow we just had. Then the model changed for the weather and we may be getting more snow then originally predicted which was somewhere between the 15-18 inch mark. Worst blizzard since 1979 and 1936. I don't know why I think that's cool?

As long as the power stays on...I'm all right with it. Oh and we are also having thundersnow...but I've yet to hear or see any.

I second this! Seriously GO AWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well...I can't open my door...there's a drift in front of it.

I've heard that there were something like 100 stranded motorists in the area and plows are stuck too trying to rescue. Relying on snowmobiles from the win-bur-sew fire dept. and anyone else in the outer lying areas with snowmobiles to retrieve stranded motorists. Drifts ranging from 3-6 feet and still falling...we broke the record for N. IL. snow fall---and made the top 5 record breaking weather incidents in IL. Not sure what the total is right now.

Can't. they frown upon that sort of thing when I'm on the clock.

How can you be on the clock? Aren't the roads shut down where you are? Or is that just me?

It was a balmy 50+ degrees when I came to work. It's gotten colder but nothing like north in OH and IN. Since I have been working in the office, its' no big deal. But yeah, I am at work. It's windy as all get out though. Keep expecting to see a house go swirling by!
