Nah, they are girls.....they are very young - 3 months - and still getting head feathers...plus, the roo likes little girls...he's been mounting them and so their crests are a mess

Wow. Read the movie synopsis on wiki. Not sure I could stand to watch / read the whole thing. Wow.

May have to get the book anyway. I'm jealous. I'm haunted by hawks, songbirds and hair ruffles (and grateful for the contact, don't get me wrong). A long conversation would be a lovely thing.

DD#2 said the movie is NOTHING like the book. I loved the book and made it through without a hitch. Both daughters wanted to watch me read it so they could make fun of my melt-down
