Where'd that one go about pig tails? Did it fade away into oblivion? Darn...we were having fun with that thread.

Hillo...look dac, I combined two words that aren't supposed to be combined. You should have seen all the grotesque spelling errors I've had on just this sentance. I think I'm tired. Me and the oldest were up till past 4:30 am and then the youngest got up at 8:30 but I tried to ignore her but she was building blocks and knocking them down...over and over...so I told her to stop the noise and watch cartoons so then she got on her bouncy ball and started bouncing...whap whap whap on the floor. When I said stop the noise I didn't mean, stop the blocks from crashing and go find something else that is noisey to play with.

The other day she was riding on her hoppy horse and then threw up...I told her it was probably better not to bounce if you're tummy's sick. I think she's mad at her body for not cooperating or mad at mama for telling her she can't roller skate, hoppy hourse, bouncy ball, and knock over building blocks. Why couldn't she play with pretty ponies or polly pockets or something that doesn't require lots of noise?

I got the games for thier parties made up...granny came and sat with the girls while I went and delivered them to the schools so I could give them instructions....as I was driving I felt rather funny...dizzy....the sun is shining, I'm turning the corner and going through these trees and the light is playing tricks and I'm sent nearly into one of my vertigo fits...I have not recovered. If I type much more the screens gonna make me puke.

a lot of horses don't like fly spray. I think its like when you go to the eye doctor and they do the eye puff thing. You know it's coming but yet it always makes you jump. Horses are flight response animals so that startles them and they want to get away.

As for picking up her back feet, maybe she has tendon or stifle issues. She may even have a sore back. Lifting the feet causes strain on different parts of the body and it maybe that it's uncomfortable for her to have her feet raised above a certain point.

When I finally got my ex to go to the marriage counselor with me he only sat through one whole appt and stormed out 10 minutes into the second one. He was diagnosed as depressed (so is his mother and sister but he's in denial) and he was classified as a dry drunk. He does not drink but he has all the personality disorders associated with alcoholism. Inappropriate anger, narcisism, inability to make good choices, inability to take responsability for his actions. The list goes on. After the counselor told me that and I did some reasearch and discussing with a recovering alcoholic I know, I gave him a choice. Admit you need to work on yourself, learn more about yourself and try and become part of the solution... or pack your crap and git out.

He still denies there is anything about him that needs changing. He is the way he is and that should be good enough for us.

Um No, not good enough, not the right answer, I've worked too hard to be a better person than I used to be. I choose to be a good example for my kids.

My daughter and I put his crap in a container last April and shipped him off to Washington to be closer to his family. The divorce was final in July. The kids are doing much better now. All their teachers and coaches say so.

Toughest choice I ever made, I've never felt better about anything I've done before or since.

I agree with a lot of this. He has been almost sober for 4 1/2 years. I say almost because he may have a drink once or twice a week instead of once or twice a minute. He can make a case of beer last a week where before he'd have one downed before breakfast was over.

I know he's in pain - bad teeth and arthritic like symptoms in his back and hands. I get that. But that not with standing, the drunkard behavior is coming back. I don't know if it is totally that or a series of factors. I do know he's done living in the present. he's moved on to the fantasy world of Wyoming and I'm left here to deal with everything alone.

And quite honestly, if that's how it's gonna be, I'd rather just be alone. Least my house would stay cleaner.

Just a bit. He's a good boy though. So sweet.
ETA - two years old, but he may be close to 200# as well

Maple - I'd imagine it got reported. Boys being boys seems to have offended some people's delicate sensibilities and bra burning desires.

Michelle, I think your Tom has the most distinguished and sophisticated palate on the west coast. I have exactly these same dislikes. Therefore I have the most distinguished and sophisticated palate on the EAST coast. Like Tom, I will consume them because it's a lot of work to avoid them, but honestly, when they cross my tongue, I just go ewwww (especially the rubbery texture and dank taste of mushrooms).

Down with olives, mushrooms, onions and raw tomatos. (Have Tom write me - we can form our own symposium.)
