DH would love it if I had some invisible hens. And some invisible roosters and chicks as well...

Actually he's being quite patient with me right now. He either hasn't noticed the 2nd emu egg or has chosen to keep his mouth shut. I'm going with hasn't noticed, since he's not known for keeping his mouth shut.
His feelings are hurt because I have photographed his beaner brooder and posted pics. Need to do that this afternoon....

Batty, I will trade you some Oreos for GS cookies. But I only want Thin Mints.
We HAVE GOT to go shopping soon, so maybe I'll luck out and find a GS who still has a few green cookie boxes left, contents intact.

My silkie eggs arrived and there was a large dent in the box. The eggs were carefully wrapped and packed, but that doesn't mean they haven't been traumatized by the PO. I am sad. I took pics of the box but I don't really expect the seller will care

My horrorscope was clearly raised on fine grade-B (for bs) bologna.

You will probably be very busy today, Taurus, which may suit you just fine. This can work in your favor if you have some work to catch up on. Being active and getting things done will be natural for you. In fact, when you have to sit for too long, you probably feel restless or anxious. You fidget and squirm. If you find yourself doing this, go do something more active!

Lori - I have thin mints. Oh do I have thin mints!!!

Buff - managing. That's I think the best to hope for at this point. The horse is driving me nuts. The house is getting cleaner and more organized slowly...ever so slowly. Money is still a serious void in my life. So basically same ol same ol.

Oh and the mongo was on the couch earlier today and when he got off the couch, he bumped the pseudo coffee table and knocked over a cup of coffee on to all kinds of stuff. Including the remote control to the government issued tv box. And I for one am not upset by this. I am in fact more upset by the scam put together by the cable/internet companies in cahoots with the tv manufacturers and sponsored by said government to convince us all that we must have this new hd crap in order to watch tv. Yet the box and service is SOOOOOO substandard that one gets frustrated and breaks down and gets the cable/satellite service just to watch the local news. I for one REFUSE to buy a newer tv and pay for tv service. And further more, I might just sue the giverment for false advertising. Hell, we used to get better reception with a coat hanger!!!!!

This sounds like my son's life horoscope!

Speaking of which, he thinks he's gonna come down to KY to finish high school. I told him it was up to him. My sis and I have talked and if the boy wants to go to school up there he is welcome to. but I figured once lix graduated, he'd want to come on down here to live too.

We had one TV that was already digitally compatible when the switch was made. We got a box for one of the others, and finally for his birthday this week I bought my DH a new little flat screen for our bedroom. We don't have a dish or cable, just an antenna, but with that we get CBS, ABC, FOX and six PBS channels in digital.

I agree that the whole thing is a huge scam perpetrated by television manufacturer lobbyists.

Yup....while lori is hung up on thin mints, I also have peanut butter patties and caramel delights heading my way. I really shouldn't have bought so many!

Beaner, I got dibs on the thin mints!

What are caramel delights? Are they new?

DH is in love with Hi-Def. He always loves new technology. Guess it's a guy thing.

caramel delights are chocolate, caramel on a cookie and sprinkled in coconut. Now, I'm not a fan of coconut, but in this combination, who could refuse?

No worries, I am not a fan of the thin mints. I like the tagalongs or whatever they are called. But I am also fat and broke, so no thanks.

Sigh.

Getting ready to go to lunch. Just got to work at 11:30.....I told boss I would work from then until 5:30 and then only need to take 2 hours time off. She responded that I had to offically take lunch and therefore take 3 hours time off. So I am officially leaving the building from 2 to 3. If I'm not getting paid for it, I'm sure not gonna be working.....
