That's what I was wondering?

Yes. Parked near neighbor's stallion's feild. Neighbor put a load of buckshot into the back of the SUV. LH heard the commotion and fired her rifle around the tires of the SUV. Said there are 2 scared teens that prolly won't be back....
Sadly, this doesn't help LH get her silkies back. Plus some folks were fussing about the legality of firing at an occupied vehicle. Bet someone reported the thread.

They're happy and I'm happy. I love being at eye-level with them. Did I mention that already? They love perching at the edge of the screen and watching me take care of everyone else. And if I feed them last they are almost docile, because by then they've heard me talking to everyone, and seen everyone else get their piggy treats. Now I can oet them while they do their piggy impresssions and get them more used to me. Win-win.

DH's beaner brooder isn't really set up for lights. hanging a light in front so that the birds there can see. But can only house slightly older birds that don't need a light. A few of those graduate today as part of the Great Rearranging. Gotta make room for the newbies in the bater....

Hahahaha.....I wanna see them bring their dad's suv home full of holes. Good times.

I need to start using locks too. I used to, but don't bother anymore. Or get a mean rooster again.

I did - it looks good!

We took the kids to see Rango on Saturday. DH and the boys all liked it. I did not.

I love Johnny Depp. Since you don't see his face, I don't care if I see Rango. DD wants to see it badly. Maybe when it comes out on DVD....

I just can't spend that kind of $ on a theatre ticket for a cartoon. UP was worth it! Not sure that any of these others are.

Use locks. Let the rooster be back-up.

I am being more concientious about locking up the coop and runs now. The house being built behind us is very active again, and there are some rowdy kids over there at times. No one has come over that I can tell, but I'm sure they know when we're home or not.

This was an entertaining thread. Locked today, but not before we had a resolution.

My friend said Rango was long and bizarre.

I tell ya, those beaner brooders are just the most useful things ever. I even used mine to store extra feed or shavings when it was empty....and empty waterers and dishes.

I am going to finally build the dividers for my big long brooder in the garage. It is set up for 3 units on each level.....but I may do only 2. Not sure......

I spent a half hour yesterday picking up the yard. Pulling old landscaping fabric that was torn up and above the dirt, picking up trash, moving random wood pieces laying around, etc. Looks like a new yard!

That's exactly how I felt about it. And I am a big fan of bizarre, most of the time. But I thought it was just plain weird and to me it was not really what I'd consider an appropriate children's movie...there were people there with 2 and 3 year old kids.
