Quick story:
I Sold my house on Calgary, Took a beautiful, Obedience trained Rottie to the SPCA. At that time I didn't have a way to bring her with us. And moved to PA.

Kids found a dog... Was trying to find the owners and used our Dog collar and leash from Nikie (the rottie). They couldn't find the owners and forgot to take the color off.
Next thing I find an officer stating as proud as punch he found our dog, We where the only Canadians living in town. He called The licensed tag in Calgary to find out who the dog belongs to. I told him I was sorry it was not my dog and explained what happened.
He then asked me why their where Drug dealers growing and selling drugs from my home in Calgary.... GEEEESH, I said I do not know, I sold the house when I moved.

Holly was this line of questioning from the same officer that cited you?

If so you need to tell your attorney, if the judge will allow it your attorney may want to question him of these previous accusations. It goes to the officers intent and bias and his trust issues. Your attorney may be able to get it in by asking about civility of prior contacts. The judge just may not allow the questioning. I have had it brought in on several DUI cases that I do not drink, sometimes the judge allows it, sometimes he doesn't. What the attorneys are attempting to do is paint that I have a bias towards drinkers. I do, against drinkers who drive. Flip of the coin, whether he allows it.

ANd how would ne know that? that sounds very suspicious! Was it the same officer? What did they call the police in Canada and share info on the address? What the hell is going on? I feel like your a target~

I'd be curious to know how much time the officer etc. are spending on this case. Seems like a HUGE waste of taxpayers money... Have you talked to the mayor about this, contact the media, etc...

What I dont understand is someone can own buggies, parrots etc. but not a lowly chicken....


As for you neighbour, get your husband to turn up his amp and perform in a speedo. I had a neighbour like this once and did something similar minus the guitar.

I live in a township so their is no mayor. The officer is hired by the township supervisors. And they have proven to be useless, as Two of them have told me I can have chickens. It was not until the neighbors complained did they decide No I can't have chickens.
And Now the supervisors are saying no comment.

The way this whole thing has been handled is Absurd. Their has been absolutely no professionalism.

In another thread on here someone was stating No chickens where allowed and Everyone in the area new it. But when they actually took a look at the ordinances it was not written anywhere. So for years they thought they couldn't have any.

I think that is what has happen here in my case. But since I do have chickens and am going to fight this in court, The Town Supervisors can not just amend the ordinance and be done with it.

So they are trying to have me cave in and go away so they can have their little Anti Chicken Area.

Sillystunt I think what makes this an interesting thread is that the whole thing is so darn Crooked.
