LENA (eyes wide)
Excuse me, we're running out of fuel! We're already too far west of Philadelphia, we didn't have enough fuel to make this long a trip!

HIJACKER 2
I don't care. I have the gun, you have the license. Fly.

LENA sits down, grumbling.

LENA
Where were you aiming for?

HIJACKER 2
They were leaving from the Allied mine. I can't imagine they'd be too far away yet.

LENA
(squeak)
The Allied mine! That's too far away, y'all know we can't make it there right?

HIJACKER 2 holds up a remote control, on which a red light is blinking.

HIJACKER 2
See this? I press that button, and a group of miners trapped 580m below ground level at Allied are going to get blown off the face of this earth.

LENA gasps.

LENA
How did you get that set up? That's cruel. Don't do it. Those people have families.

HIJACKER 2
(smiles)
Our boss also has a family waiting for him when he manages to leave the country.


(But while this is going on, the miners are planning to blast their way through to an older, now unused train line to take them to the lifts. It's a long story.)

Nothing much...except I've had this really bad chest cold accompanied with a fever. I was in bed all day yesterday. I'm better today...but I'm still in pain.
