So pretty! Maybe this is what mine is. I have one from my mom (deceased). Does yours grow like a weed? I have to repot mine for the 2nd time in a year.

Funny, because I had no idea what it was either, someone here told me what it was a few years ago on the indoor plant contest thread.
And it does grow well, but sounds like yours grows better! I almost killed mine because I left it in our bathroom thinking it was getting enough light, but somehow during that time it shot up another stem despite almost dying on me! Seems to me your mother left you a wonderful gift

This is my Monstera. It lives in the house most of the year and the greenhouse for summer. Had to take it outside for photo.

This one is a tree philodendron. It spends summer in the greenhouse too.

Thank you! It's a lovely succulent, my favourite of the two specimens I have. Not as easy to care for compared to the astrophytum, I've found, but that's to be expected with anything variegated

Thank you! I think you'll love it! It has been a slow grower for me so far, but it flowers very frequently (which is also part of the reason it doesn't grow as quickly)

I love cactus flowers. Glad yours has been blessing you with the beauty! I am hoping for a few flowers next spring or summer from my cacti crew!

I'm sure you'll get them soon! Especially from the mammillaria, they produce so many flowers! I prefer the cacti flowers to other succulents as well. Only exception being lithops flowers

Entry #1, my indoor cactus I’ve had for a bit over a year! It used to have another cactus in there but for some reason it died.

Well if everyone is going to keep entering cacti, I guess I should pull out one of the big guns. I haven't even shared my more impressive plants yet..

Astrophytum myriostigma var quadricostatum (prob 10+years old)

Usually this cacti has 5 ribs like a star, it's rare to find the 4 rib quadricostatum and usually it's a normal form that hasn't grown the last rib. Flowers have a lovely floral scent and are blindingly bright in direct sun!
