The livestock program at a fair offers an opportunity to showcase the best in a variety of farm animals, such as:
Cattle: Beef & Dairy Bulls, cows, and calves
Sheep: Rams, ewes & lambs
Goats: Bucks, does & kids
Rabbits: Bucks, does, and kits
Swine: Boars, sows, & piglets
and everything in between.

This is your chance to show off your non-poultry farm animals! We’re looking for the best-looking 4-legged farm animals you have (well-groomed and healthy counts).

In this contest, the winners will be picked using a random number generator.

If entries warrant, we will split the contest into several categories - cows, goats, sheep, pigs, rabbits, etc., with prizes for each category

Prizes - Three 3-month PFMs

To increase your chances of winning, please read the rules before entering.

Rules:
  1. Four entries per member. One entry per post, please.
  2. An entry is *one* picture of *your* livestock animal.
  3. All livestock except equines & poultry are allowed. Poultry, equines, or pets are not allowed. Equines can enter the Equine Show. Chickens can enter the Standard-Bred Chicken Show, & all other poultry can enter the Other Poultry Show or the Meat Bird Show.
  4. Include a brief description of your livestock.
  5. You cannot use a photo that won an award in another BYC-sponsored contest.
  6. ALL photos MUST be uploaded to BYC and not hosted on other image sites, personal websites, etc.
  7. Prizes are limited to one per person per contest.
  8. All BYC rules apply: Terms of Service (Rules)
  9. Entries will be accepted until August 25th, 2024, at 11:59 PM Pacific Time.

Aww, I raised a few bottle lambs. They are the friendliest critters, and make nice pets. :)
