This is Duchess of Sussex Meghan Clarkle aka Duchie. She makes me want an entire flock of Speckles. Sweet, silly, docile. She lets out this...interesting...noise when she hears me coming out. Her favorite thing to do is catch a bug then run around with it in her beak screeching, as if she has just won a major award. Attempting to get any pictures of her standing still was a chore

This is Lucie. If you ever wanted a chicken to share your snacks with, Lucie is your girl. This girl lives for snacks and dust baths. She was my first layer, starting on father's day, and has laid almost every day since.

This is Red. Purchased as a pullet, but knew within 3 weeks that we were going to have a rooster. He is textbook RIR in personality, and seeing he is as large as he is at 5 months, we expect him to top out their size range. His best personality trait: makes sure his girls are fed and that they always know where snacks are. He also watches over them while they lay and has been spotted testing out their nesting box
