Oh most definitely!! My rooster is the sweetest rooster I have EVER had! And the hens are docile and good egg layers! If you were nearby I have a pair of male and female Buckeyes that I am wantin' to sell so that more people can breed them. They are becoming a pretty rare breed surprisingly. Hardly any meet the SOP anymore.

Most Buckeyes nowadays don't have the eye color my rooster has because the color is beginning to fade as more people breed them.

They are beautiful! The dark red color with the black tail reminds me of Rhode Island Reds. That is one of my favorite colors in chickens.
