Ended Official BYC Caption Contest 05-24-24 Pic by LhickenChicken

All in a day's work...
What exactly do Roosters do?

"Wow, what a busy morning...I crowed everyone awake, including nearby human neighbors, broke up a nest box squabble as 4 hens all wanted the same box, taught 10 chicks how to peck & pick up mealworms, took a dust bath & now I'd like some peace & quiet, some alone time, think I'll take a nap...right after I get done crowing & stirring up everyone else again."

(Crows loudly 20 minutes, also getting 2 neighboring farms roosters crowing back)

Ahhh yes, my own little nap tub...a nice power nap, then I can be refreshed...then crow about nothing for another 20 minutes."
