Chicken: so what’s the secret?
human: come closer so no one will here.
chicken: okay
human: we are getting a dog.
Chicken:*eyes widen* what how could you betray your fellow chickens. I’m not laying anymore ore eggs for you.
human: well we have other chickens to do it and butchering time is close.
Chicken: my life is over, I’m going to be eaten by the humans if the dog doesn’t already eat me. Oh chicken gods, what did I do wrong. *starts crying*

Chicken gods: you did noting wrong fellow chicken. the dog is a gift.
chicken: i don’t understand
Chicken gods: the dog will be afraid of you. You will use him to find mealworms. You can ride on his back.
Chicken: but, the humans will butcher me
Chicken gods: that is just a threat they would never butcher their best egg laying hen.
chicken: but, my eggs are the worst, all the chickens in the flock say so.
Chicken gods: they are just jealous. You have the best eggs and they know it.
Chicken: if I don’t get butchered then who will?
Chicken gods: that bully from when you were a chick she used to peck you and your siblings. Your mother always had to fight her and peck her and scold her for coming to close.
Chicken: oh, chicken gods. Why did you chose me?
Chicken gods: you have been special sense they day you hatched and you have been bullied your whole life so you deserve to be the alpha hen.
Chicken: what?
Chicken gods: when you ride the dog all the other chickens will bow to you and will put your name in the egg song
chicken: really? But only chicken god names are in the egg song.
Chicken gods: well now you are an alpha they turn into chicken gods when they die.

Chicken: now let me ride you

dog: *lets chicken hop on*
chicken: okay now slowly walk over there *points at coop with foot*
dog: okay * starts running*
chicken:*falls of* bad dog
dog: sorry, when will I be a good dog?
chicken: when you learn to be a good dog.
