I love that chicken so much I want to pet her... after she comes out of her comfort place.

If you wait until it gets close to roosting time Butter will often decide that your lap is a better place to sleep then the roost. She enjoys a good nap in your lap, after you have hand fed her all the treats she can stuff herself with.
