I've never kept them before, so I can't be sure. I have a relative that claims hers have wonderful personalities. They're bantam size, so not sure about eggs... The eggs are quite small.

The best laying chicks that I have come across are our Plymouth Rock hens., they lay eggs even in the coldest of weather and sometimes I get more than one egg a day from the same hen........., t
