Sorry, I thought you had said to rest in peace for all of the ducks. Was Pochard also a Wood Duck.
I have seen Wood Ducks on the top of one of the cottonwoods in our back yard (irrigation ditch underneath the tree) and I have seen them flying by and occasionally in our pond, but never up close. Maybe one day.

Ohh, it's ok! I should reword that.
He was a Red Crested Pochard. He never got a name so that's just what I called him the few short days he was with me.
They're awesome! I'm actually getting a couple more hens for them, they're shipping on Monday or Tuesday I think.
I have a lot of other species of ducks too, but the Woodies are my favorites.

Yes they are special. I do not have ducks, at least not yet! My four geese and 23 chickens keep me busy for the moment.
