I recently notified Nifty-Chicken about this contest; that he hasn't posted the deadline or the winner yet. He told me that due to the amount of technical difficulties they've been having, they haven't been able to keep up with all of the contests. Be patient with him, he has lots to do!
We've received a lot of great submissions. Many of the artwork is fantastic, but we're finding the scans / pictures submitted of the art aren't high enough resolution to use for a coloring book.
So, we're trying to figure out the best next steps... do we use them as they are? Do we spend a lot of time trying to get new / better scans? Do we try to find someone that is really good at computer art that can duplicate the images in a clean computer format?
It's tricky and we'd like to find the easiest and best solution.

What about everyone mailing in their originals and having them all scanned at the same quality... and you might want to have the artists ink in over their pencil lines before sending.
Another thing is that it might be easier for everyone to email their jpg drawings to someone... and then you will have the full quality digial drawing.
