Very interesting contest.
I don't want to enter, but since all you talented people are only allowed to draw one picture for now, maybe I can recruit some of you for some serious work (albeit unpaid).
I am planning to redo the pictures of the chickencalculator. I paint-stakingly made about 800 pictures for the first one.
Now I am planning to do it by layering one picture on top of the other. But still a lot of patterns have to be drawn!

I wouldn't mind a BYC logo in the edges if that would mean that your efforts could be sponsored...

Downside: all the pictures have to be the same hen or rooster and the same dimensions, and I want the patterns to be representing the real pattern. Also, it will be a lot of work and software is not very tolerant.
I think Backyard chickens would be the only community to pull this off!
