You’d be surprised…..we usually cook 1-2 depending on the meal…..took a while but I think I finally broke mr muddy from leaving head on

Hmmm... We don't have that many in the woods. I only see them occasionally. But now I'll be tempted to shoot them if I see them... Just to try... Just to try.

Should I get an instant pot? I've heard a lot of good things about them. My husband seems a bit hesitant but it sounds awfully convenient.

I love mine. Butternut squash in like 10 minutes.

They do have 1 drawback.

The “non-stick coating” is fragile!

And when making oatmeal, don’t dump it in and set to veggie steam for the fast 8 minute timer! It will boil up & foamy froth all out the steam vent when you depressurize it!
It’s a mess of messes!

Better to add oats to water the night before.
Turn it on for 5-10 minutes in soup mode.
Unplug and wait till morning to “warm it back up …. Takes like 5 odd minutes and that way it doesn’t boil up and over everything….

More than enough to make a nice stew as long as it isn't the little red squirrels. Here, those taste like turpentine.
