I'll try to get better pics tomorrow. I thought maybe it WASN'T a molt and was some sort of feather condition problem, but there are tiny feathers coming through on her shoulders.

Is this still ongoing? I have a 17-month-old hen who molted so badly, she was shivering, starving herself and developing neurological problems. She is currently living in the kitchen with heat and is being tube fed. The molt started in 2020, but she’s still in it in 2021.

Ok, I’ve been able to pull some stills from the videos. The best ones are flooded in red heat lamp light; is that ok? Also, I don’t yet have good pics of her molting head. Can I start a post and add photos to the same post later or do I have to upload all at once? Thanks! Never knew if I’d have a contest-worthy molter, but I’m pretty sure Ester qualifies to at least be entered.
