Sure doesn't. She swung on him right after that picture! Poor guy didn't know WHAT was going on.No need to edit. This here is fine. She doesn't look like she wants anyone near her right now.
Poor fella. She'll come back to normal... eventually.Sure doesn't. She swung on him right after that picture! Poor guy didn't know WHAT was going on.![]()
Yeah, it was a worse mess last year with my oldest girl and she's not been right since.Another tailless one, lol. Don't worry, you're not the first (even on this thread) that had a scare that something got a chicken by the feathers everywhere.
I was so disappointed she missed the contest by a hair last year! Then someone said she could enter the one this year since her molt would’ve been this year technically. Funny loophole! I am betting she will molt later again. She has perfect feathers still!Oooooh whee! She's a contender!
Aw, poor girl. I had a hen that grew back the wrong feathers after one of her molts. Unfortunately, she had bad genetics and I ended up losing her. Your hen seems fine from what I could see, just a little tailless.Yeah, it was a worse mess last year with my oldest girl and she's not been right since.![]()
That’s quite the spur!More photos from today of peaches.
