This is Brittany, one of my two 3yr old white leghorns “The Wilson Sisters”, who’s recently been through the laundry with her molt I’ve been getting a little panic attacks lately with seeing her piles of white feathers around the yard.

Meet Captain Morgan — my Wheaten Olive Egger boy (future kick-ass rooster in training), just shy of four weeks old.

He’d like to make an announcement:
"This is my first molt.... I don't know how to grow feathers, I look like an amateur chocolate chip cookie! Someone send help!"

O My Gosh he's a darling! And fuzzy legs to boot - adorable!

My Noirans and Silkie babies were at that akward 'feathered feet' tripping overt things age a few weeks back. They sure are funny when they run!
